A day at Comerica Park

On Sunday, we went to Comerica Park to watch the Tigers. They lost, but we still had a great time. Lucky for us, Olivia slept all the way there! Travis & Olivia heading to the park!

Olivia enjoyed showing off and playing on the steps. A lot of people were looking at her and commenting on how cute she was. We even had a couple next to us comment on how good she was and that their 16 year old wouldn't have sat as long as she did. She's such a great kid!

Olivia sat in the seats in front of us for a while and she thought that was pretty cool.

She had fun playing with her daddy and his hat.

Then we got ice cream cookie sandwiches and they were so good!

Olivia waiting in line for the carousel.

Every time we go, she wants to ride the carousel and every time she gets scared when it starts. She always begs for it to stop. But then when it's all over she says "That was FUN!" Good grief!

It was a fun day. And lucky for us, Olivia slept all the way home too!

Brownies

Last weekend Olivia and I made brownies together. She had fun mixing them, but had more fun eating the extra batter!

Happy Mother's Day!

Last week, Olivia's school had a Mother's Day brunch. I went and we had a good time. Olivia was very excited to have me there. Below is Olivia with the class pet, Mr. Sniffles - a rabbit. She really likes him and wanted her picture taken with him.

Below is Olivia and me having brunch. Each kid gave their mom a flower. The teacher had each kid tell her what their mom likes, and they attached what the child said to the tag. You never know what you're going to get from a 2 year old. Olivia did good, she said "My mommy likes her Travis". And I thought that it was so cute. I'm so glad that Olivia is growing up knowing that her mom and dad like each other. :)

Our Flowers

Well, we've done alot with our landscaping in the last few years. And last fall, my mom helped us plant some daffodils and tulips. They look amazing! I'm so thankful to finally have landscaping done - it's been a long haul, but I'm glad that we've finally got something. Now I have to start landscaping the patio we put in last fall. Once I have something in, I'll post pictures!

The daffodils - they sprouted and were so colorful!
My tulips quickly followed. They are bright and HUGE! They are so tall!

Finally!

Well, we've been a little busy lately. My students finally graduated. I had a busy week at work last week getting them past the finish line.

Below is a picture of Travis and me at the bar after my students' celebration dinner. Hopefully I'll get a few other pictures of us that look better than this one - but this is all I had of the two of us. It was a formal event, and I even donned a dress (yes somewhat unheard of) and Travis sported a tux. We had a good time.
