CHRISTMAS

We had a great Christmas! Olivia was totally into it and that made it so much fun!

After Christmas at my dad's house, Olivia fell asleep in the car on the 10 minute drive over to my mom's house. :) She was too cute to not take a picture!

We had a great Christmas - but we were EXHAUSTED!!!

For Christmas, Olivia got a new room! We did her big girl room in Tinkerbell. She really likes it!

Her room was complete with new Tinkerbell toys!

And a chandelier lamp.

Rachel even made Olivia pillows, spelling her name with Tinkerbell fabric! They look FANTASTIC!!!

Grandma Betty sent Olivia a new chair for her room too! It is super cute!

Christmas Eve

Since our weather on Christmas Eve was a little questionable - our family cancelled our annual Christmas Eve gathering. Which was helpful to us since our Santa had not wrapped any presents yet! :)

Olivia enjoyed most of the late afternoon by lounging on the couch watching Mary Poppins!

After dinner, we decided to go out and look at lights! Olivia thought that this truck was her Papa's truck!

Below are the lights from the Nite Lights show down at the fairgrounds. It was really pretty and Olivia kept saying "WOW!" It was cute!

Below is Olivia getting her "Christmas Eve present". It was a snow globe with Tinkerbell in it! It is rather annoying (and loud), but she LOVED it! :)

Travis' birthday party!

For Travis' birthday, we had a small gathering at our house and served one of Travis' favorites - Coney dogs and beer. :) Neither of which I like, but I did enjoy a hotdog with ketchup and mustard and a Mountain Dew! :) Travis and everyone else really enjoyed the selection and I liked that it was EASY!!

Snow Day!

Last week, we had a TON of snow! Okay, maybe not a ton, but at least 10 inches or so!

And yes, we think that Santa has a shifty eye...but hey - the guy had a real beard and was nice....you can't have it all!

We finally made it to see Santa!

We went tonight to see Santa! Olivia was thrilled and ran right up to him and jumped on his lap! She told him that she wanted a doll house and some polly pockets. She was really cute. But she didn't really want to smile for the photos - we did get one picture taken and I'll have to scan that in to post later. Here are the pics I took.

We were going to go last night, but when we got home from work, and found out that Liv decided not to nap yesterday - we knew that was a bad idea. The girl was so tired - I told her for sure if we went yesterday she would get nothing but coal! :) Good thing we waited until tonight! She was so good and nice and said "thank you" to Santa! Love this kid!
