Family cookout

We really enjoyed a family cookout at Uncle Chuck & Aunt Marcy's house over the holiday weekend. On our way there, Olivia took a nap - her hair looked like a firecracker as she slept!
Olivia LOVES to sit on the porch swing with Grammie! Julia looked relaxed as well.
Olivia wanted to play yard games!
We locked the kids in the food tent for a little while. Actually, it was a brilliant idea - but they would have exploded with cheese curls if we left them in there any longer. They were cute! We told them that they were little tigers in a cage - and they kept growling at us! Here's Julia's best growl!
Here is tiger Olivia - notice the cheese curls in both hands!

Just a cute pic of Jimmy!

Chuck & Marcy did a great job with things to entertain the kids. They even had games planned for them. The theme was "golf" - not sure if it was intentional - but the kids had a blast. They played pick up the golf ball with a sticker for a prize from the pool - and a golf ball hunt (like an easter egg hunt - but with golf balls). The kids had so much fun.

Of course with a little bit of water - comes splashing kids!

Olivia got so drenched that we had to change her shirt! Jimmy went on to pick up all of the golf balls with the wagon! The girls had fun helping him!

Below is a video of Olivia trying to "juggle". Travis can juggle and she's fascinated with it - and even tries to do it herself - this is her version:

Deer Farm

On Friday, Olivia and I went to a local deer farm. She had so much fun feeding the deer apple slices. She had no fear of these animals. She went right up to the fence and hollered "come here deer". It was really cute. We had fun!

Below was the only fawn that we saw. The momma kept the baby far away and didn't come close to get any apples.

This deer could not wait for Olivia to get the last apples out of the bag to feed her.

The even had swings at the deer farm. Olivia loves to swing!

Fun around the house!

Today Olivia was in a goofy mood! Here she is wearing my shoes!
Her hair was extra curly since we didn't give her a bath last night after the ride home from the game. I just thought that she looked extra cute here - and much bigger than the baby I still think she is.
One of my other babies!
And I couldn't leave Shadow out!
This is where the real goofiness begins! Here is Liv on her car. She got to laughing so much riding this today. She would ride and then dive of the front of it and fall to the ground. The first time it was by accident, but she kept doing it. Then when I got the camera out to catch her - she didn't want to do it anymore. But she did have quite the laugh as she would try to ride closer to the camera and then laugh hysterically as I pushed her away with my feet!

Go Tigers!

Yesterday we took Olivia to her first Tigers game. She was very well behaved and even seemed to enjoy some of it.

Here is Olivia with Travis outside Comerica Park before the game.

Olivia wasn't a big fan of "Paws". However, during the game - she would see him on the dug-out and call for him. It was pretty cute!
Then she wanted to ride the tigers (on the merry go round). However, once it started, she freaked out. She wouldn't let me go!

After it was all over - she was all smiles again! And was upset when we wouldn't let her ride it again! Maybe we'll try again next year!
We got to try out a few of the fun features on our new camera. Evidently I can zoom really close!

And I couldn't leave this guy out....
Yes, that's one of the finest tight ends in baseball. (I'm sorry - I realize this is a family blog - but I couldn't resist).
Olivia wasn't as impressed with Jeter as I was.

And here's Olivia getting down to the music during the game!

Miss blue eyes enjoying the game from the comfort of her Daddy's lap!
After the game was over - we go to the car and changed Olivia into her pajamas. We knew we didn't have long before she wilted. She is sporting the "Flock of Seagulls" hairstyle - which is often the case after the ponytail holder comes out!
As we hopped onto the highway - Olivia was jabbering one minute and then I turned around - and she was OUT! She slept the whole way home!
